What You'll Do (Day to Day Job Duties)
- Understands and adheres to internal and customer part quality requirements, SOP’s and other specifications and procedures used to define the product.
- Understands basic blueprint reading, interpretation standards and measurement procedures.
- Reliably and consistently detects small scratches, burrs, nicks and surface finish deviations, often only visible under magnification.
- Assists in maintaining the calibration and traceability of gages and other inspection equipment under the direction of a Quality Engineer. Maintains inventory of same.
Your Impact (CORE Responsibilities)
- Acts on behalf of the customer to audit and maintain the accuracy and timely delivery of products.
- Sees to it that Final Inspections are done in a thorough manner and in accordance with shipping requirements and production scheduling.
- Leads by example in all activities that relate to Quality Assurance and its effective implementation.
- Monitors part quality ensuring that operators conform to production & processing standards.
What You Bring (Qualifications)
- Bachelor's Degree and/or High school diploma required with equivalent work experience
- At minimum 1-2 years of Quality Assurance experience
- Blueprint reading
- Experience working in an ISO 9001/13485 Certification
