Financial Analyst

We are looking for an innovative and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Finance team in St. Louis Park. In this newly created role, you will report directly to the VP of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and play a key role in driving strategic financial insights. As a Financial Analyst, you will assist in preparing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, support monthly management reporting and variance analysis, collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes. The ideal candidate is a curious, self-motivated professional with a continuous improvement mindset, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist VP of FP&A in preparing the annual budget and quarterly forecasts
• Prepare monthly financial reporting, including investigating variances to budget and prior period actuals
• Extract core system data for monthly reporting and analysis
• Maintain planning system dimensions
• Complete ad-hoc analysis as requested by management
• Monitor Power BI data refreshes and troubleshoot as necessary
• Prepare business core data extracts including report design and scheduling for end users
• Leverage automation tools to replace manual reporting where achievable across the organization
• Document and maintain task procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
• Strong understanding of accounting and finance
• Detail-oriented, efficient and organized
• Experience in financial modeling and data analysis
• Ability to think critically, solve problems and propose solutions
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with IBM Business Analytics, Microsoft Power BI, DAX, Power Query and databases are a plus

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

The typical annual/hourly base pay range for this role is between $65,200 - $75,900. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
