Description:
The Activities Aide is responsible for assisting the Manager Activities/Volunteer Services in the implementation of the Activities Program so that the resident's physical, mental and psychological needs are met.
Monday & Friday 12:00 pm- 5:00 pm Alternating Weekends 12:00 pm- 5:00 pm
May be asked to work an additional evening or weekend day in the case of a special event.
The Activities Aide is responsible for assisting the Manager Activities/Volunteer Services in the implementation of the Activities Program so that the resident's physical, mental and psychological needs are met. Will assist with planning, setting up, and running group activities. Attends resident care conferences. Assists with maintaining attendance records and inputting information into electronic medical records.
Must be able to work one or two evenings per week, every other weekend and alternating holidays.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
High School graduate
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
One year of experience is preferred. Ability to relate and interact with the residents, volunteers, and the general public.
Ability to adapt program to suit the environment or current resident condition.
Pay Range:$16.20 - $23.50
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
