Visionist is seeking experienced DevOps Engineers to join our team. In this role, you will utilize your technical expertise to deliver solutions across multiple high-priority projects. These opportunities can span from 3, 6, & 12-month duration which can fill employment gaps if you're in-between contracts, or you move to another short-term contract, or join one of our prime/subcontracts. Your contributions are…

• Develop, deploy and debug Terraform infrastructure
• Build and deploy applications in AWS environments
• Implement DevOps practices including Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines
• Work with AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK)
• Architect systems with AWS serverless components (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS)
• Configure and manage Kubernetes environments
• Develop and maintain Ansible automation tools
• Migrate on-premises Kubernetes clusters/containerized applications to the cloud
• Implement security policies and permission boundaries
• Create technical documentation including user guides, SOPs, etc.
• Manage IL4/IL5 cloud architecture requirements when applicable

Requirements for your new career…

• 5 years of experience in DevOps or cloud engineering
• Strong proficiency in Python (Java is a plus for some projects)
• Experience with Linux administration
• Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Experience with AWS services and deployment patterns
• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, GitLab Pipelines)
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

Salary range: $115,000 - $170,000
