Job Description

Appian is seeking an Project Coordinator, reporting to the Executive Vice President of Engineering, who will be the information and activity hub for keeping the engineering team functioning. This includes helping us adapt to our growth by designing new processes and systems that keep friction out of the engineering department.

In this role, you will:
Provide executive support to the Executive Vice President of Engineering, the Engineering Department and other engineering leaders while maintaining confidentiality
Summarizing and synthesizing key decisions in writing and communicating them out to relevant stakeholders
Take the lead in organizing and running key departmental meetings and major events including rooms, calendar events, meeting agenda, AV coordination, etc
Support processes and tools for the Engineering department, and consistently look for opportunities to improve and streamline
Maintain key documents, calendars and systems that keep the engineering department running smoothly
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
2-5 years of related experience
Proficiency in computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Google Docs, Sheets; Google Hangout and Meet)
Strong organization skills
Experience as an Executive Assistant or Operations Specialist preferred
