About The Job

Nazdar SourceOne is actively seeking a Warehouse Lead to assist with the operations of our newest warehouse located in the Dallas-Metro area. The Warehouse Lead will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day shipping and receiving functions to ensure product moves in and out of the warehouse accurately and efficiently. 

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Assists in coordination and prioritization of personnel and workflow of warehouse.
  • Conducts daily inventory cycle counts.
  • Ensure timely shipment of all orders by end-of-day cutoff which could results in OT.
  • Prioritize and select distribution pick tickets, determining the best shipping methods.
  • Manages and picks LTL customer orders.
  • Comple BOL documentation and coordinate optimal shipping methods and schedules with freight carriers.
  • Cut, pack, and ship fabric to customers and branches.
  • Ensure all employees adhere to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Cross-train in various warehouse positions to support operations during employee absences.
  • Keep up-to-date with US and International shipping regulations, maintaining all necessary documentation.
  • Advise employees on the care and preservation of received, stored, and shipped items.
  • Operate equipment for heavy lifting, handling, storage, and maintenance.
  • Assist in enforcing all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform duties according to established safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
  • Assist with other duties as directed by supervisor.
  • Fills in for Warehouse Supervisor during absences.

Qualifications And Skills

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years of shipping experience required.
  • Previous experience in a Lead or Supervisory role.
  • DOT, HazMat, Forklift Certification preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
