So, what will the Laundry Supervisor at Terrestris do? The Laundry Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the laundry department to ensure efficient, timely, and high-quality cleaning and distribution of linens, uniforms, and other laundry items. This role includes supervising laundry staff, maintaining equipment, enforcing safety and hygiene standards, and managing inventory.

What does a typical day look like for the Laundry Supervisor?

You will:

·     Supervise, train, and schedule laundry staff to ensure optimal coverage and performance.

·        Monitor workflow and productivity to meet daily laundry processing requirements.

·        Ensure all laundry is cleaned, dried, folded, and distributed in a timely manner.

·        Inspect laundry items for quality and cleanliness standards; take corrective action as needed.

·        Maintain equipment and coordinate repairs or servicing as necessary.

·        Enforce workplace safety procedures and proper handling of chemicals and equipment.

·        Manage inventory of laundry supplies and place orders as needed.

·        Maintain records of laundry loads, staff schedules, maintenance logs, and supply usage.

·        Ensure compliance with hygiene, infection control, and sanitation regulations.

What qualifications do you look for?

You might be the professional we're looking for if you have:

·        Authorization to permanently work in the United States without sponsorship.

·        High school diploma or equivalent.

·        2+ years of experience in laundry services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

·        Knowledge of commercial laundry equipment and chemicals.

·        Strong organizational and leadership skills.

·        Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

·        Basic computer skills for scheduling, reporting, and inventory tracking.  

We are extra impressed by folks with: 

·        Prior military experience in logistics or similar occupational field
