Island Health is looking for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Tech for our per diem variable shift at our hospital in Anacortes, WA.

Salary Range: $48.30 - $67.62

Nuclear Medicine Tech Job Responsibilities:
- Uses appropriate isotope, scan parameters and positions patients accurately to produce scans as prescribed by a physician.
- Processes and critiques films to be read by radiologists.
- Communicates to referring physician as requested by radiologist.
- Provides technologist notes.
- Explains procedure to each patient prior to exam.
- Transports patients to and from patients waiting area and/or patient rooms assuming responsibility for their safety.
- May answer phone and assist in making appointments
Job Requirements:
- Must be a current member of ARRT or NMTCB and have met C.E. requirements
- Current WA State license as a certified Radiological Technologist in Nuclear Medicine
- Current BLS certification
