Job Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The role of the Assistant General Manager is primarily responsible for managing studio operations, cleanliness, retail operations, scheduling and member engagement. Additionally, assisting the Sales Manager with task and sales as needed or opportunistically.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
·       2+ years of fitness/or other sales experience.
·       Confident in generating personal sales 
·       Ability to work independently and collaborate with owner
·       Ability to manage and drive all revenue streams from membership sales to retail
·       Consistently excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email.
·       Have a run though walls mentality and grit with a personal desire to better themselves and others around them.
·       Ability to excel in a fast changing, diverse environment.
·       Be a creative thinker as to how best to achieve goals and targets while staying in the Row House guidelines.
·       Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment.
·       An affinity and passion for fitness.
·       Solid writing and grammar skills.
·       Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
·       Professional, punctual, reliable and neat.
·       Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
·       Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information.
·       Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients and the general public.
·       Periodically take/coach classes.
·       Proficiency with computers and Studio software.
 
DUTIES:
·       Lead generation through partnerships and special events (tabling, sponsorship, etc.) to drive leads and membership purchases through business development efforts.
·       Implement sales process (tasks) to schedule prospects into Intro class as needed based on Sales Managers activities
·       Implement member follow up task in conjunction with the lead coach to achieve lower attrition rates.
·       Manage supply inventory and cleaning schedules
·       Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fitness studio
·       Independently make decisions related to high level customer service
·       Scheduling of front desk staff, training on operational type needs
·       Retail management including stock levels and promotional efforts both in and out of studios
·       Work with lead coach on member events and special rides.  Promote as needed through all channels.
·       Ensure all forms, administrative supplies, and studio literature is stocked and visible
·       Post on social media channels activities, milestones and events in the studio
·       Schedule and participate in networking/community events and studio promotions
·       Ability to coach as needed
·       Any other duties as assigned
 

·       *This is a full-time position. Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule with nights and weekend availability.
