Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION

The candidate will provide friendly point of contact and act as a liaison of communication between employees, customers and visitors. This role provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The candidate will be responsible for answering and directing incoming calls, effectively managing customer orders, providing excellent customer service, maintaining office appearance and cleanliness, and restocking necessary supplies.

ACTIVITIES/TASKS/SCOPE
- Keep work area clean, orderly and safe
- Answer telephones and direct calls to appropriate personnel
- Relay messages for various personnel as needed
- Greet and direct customers and visitors to the company
- Provide callers and visitors with information such as company address, directions to the location, fax numbers, company website and other related information
- Help customers determine rock tonnages that meet their project's needs
- Accurately receive and enter all customer orders into the computer
- Learn specific truck information and details in order to cross trucks on the scale
- Cross-train to backfill the Scale Operator position when necessary
- Order and maintain office and cleaning supplies
- Keep printers, which are located outside of the office location, fully stocked and operable
- Assist with other related clerical duties such scheduling, data entry, photocopying, faxing, filing, and collating
- Other tasks as needed

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High School or Degree or GED required
- One to three years of administrative experience preferred
- Must be 18 years or older and have reliable transportation
