About the Role and Team

The Director of Product Operations is a strategic and operational leader responsible for enabling the product organization to operate with scale, efficiency, and data-driven insight. This role combines ownership of product operations practices with leadership of the tooling, systems, and intelligence that power them.

You will oversee the frameworks, processes, and tools that drive product planning, execution, and measurement across the organization. With a foundation in Airtable and an integrated ecosystem of Jira, Aha!, WorkBoard, Looker/Tableau, and related platforms, you will deliver the systems, data, and enablement that empower product teams to focus on building great products.

Reporting to the VP, Program & Product Transformation, this role sits at the intersection of product, data, and operations. You will lead a team of product operations managers, tooling specialists, analysts, and reporting leads to streamline workflows, improve decision-making, and ensure seamless access to critical insights.

What You Will Accomplish

  • Define and Evolve Product Operations Strategy

Establish the operating model, frameworks, and processes that drive clarity, accountability, and alignment across the product lifecycle.

  • Own the Product Tooling Ecosystem

Define and manage the roadmap for product operations tooling-including initiative planning, objectives and key results tracking, delivery workflows, and visibility dashboards. Balance consistency and scalability with flexibility for individual team needs.

  • Deliver Operational Data & Insights Infrastructure

Partner with analytics and data engineering teams to define KPIs, build dashboards, and create self-serve analytics environments that improve decision-making for product and executive teams.

  • Enable Seamless Tooling Adoption & Usability

Lead enablement programs (onboarding, training, documentation, support) to ensure consistent and effective usage of the product operations toolkit.

  • Integrate Tools Across Systems & Workflows

Ensure interoperability across Jira, Airtable, AI, and other systems to enable end-to-end visibility, reduce duplication, and simplify workflows.

  • Support Planning & Portfolio Decisions

Build and maintain frameworks for initiative tracking, scenario modeling, resource forecasting, and trade-off analysis to inform strategic planning.

  • Drive Automation and Continuous Improvement

Identify and implement opportunities to automate reporting, streamline workflows, and reduce friction across the product development lifecycle.

  • Partner on Tool & System Maintenance

Work with IT and engineering partners to ensure the security, integration, and long-term reliability of the product operations tooling suite.

  • Lead and Grow a High-Performing Team

Hire, develop, and coach a cross-functional team of product operations managers, tooling product managers, and analysts to deliver impact at scale.

What You Will Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in product operations within a global technology company.

  • Proven success owning and scaling product operations frameworks and tooling ecosystems across large or matrixed organizations.

  • In-depth knowledge of Airtable and strong familiarity with planning, resource, and reporting platforms (e.g., Jira, Jellyfish Tableau).

  • Strong product mentality with ability to define requirements, drive adoption, and manage cross-functional tooling lifecycles.

  • Experience partnering with engineering and data teams to deliver operational KPIs, analytics solutions, and automation.

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder alignment skills across product, engineering, and business leadership.

  • Analytical rigor and systems thinking; ability to translate complexity into scalable, usable solutions.
