Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with current customer base and work to prospect new customers through face-to-face meetings and cold calls.
• Build customer trust and loyalty by being responsive and credible in pumping unit troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Scope job locations as needed for quoting and job readiness.
• Assist as needed in quoting process to ensure fair and profitable pricing proposals.
• Funnel work requests to dispatch for job scheduling.
• Other duties as assigned.

Essential Characteristics

• Safety-minded leader that will encourage colleagues to work safe.
• Strong proven communication skills and passionate about customer service.
• Minimum of 5 years of technical customer service experience/relations and development related to oil and gas artificial lift.
• Demonstrated business / commercial acumen / project management experience.
• Technical knowledge of beam pumping units and associated equipment.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience, preferably in Oil & Gas industry.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple customer events simultaneously.
• Excellent situational awareness.

Requirements

• Education and Training: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a beam/rod pumping unit Services position)
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Office Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
