Join Express Employment for a direct hire opportunity as a 1st Shift Industrial/Electrical Maintenance Technician in Toledo, OH. This role involves ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of industrial equipment through skilled maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and electrical systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical issues effectively
- Implement preventative maintenance practices to reduce equipment failure
- Assist in the setup and installation of new machinery
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment status
- Work closely with management to identify areas for improvement
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance with a focus on electrical systems
- Proficient in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems
- Experience with PLCs and automation systems is a plus
- Able to read and understand electrical schematics and technical manuals
- Knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a team
- Available to work 1st shift hours
