Description of the role:
The Automotive Service Advisor position at Jim Falk Motors of Maui - Chevrolet / Cadillac/ GMC / Nissan / Hyundai in Kahului, Hawaii involves providing exceptional customer service and guidance to clients regarding their automotive service needs. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills to effectively assist customers and ensure their satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers and inquire about their automotive service requirements
- Provide recommendations and explanations to customers regarding necessary repairs and maintenance
- Estimate service costs and provide accurate timelines for completion
- Schedule service appointments and update customers on any changes
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure efficient and timely completion of work
- Address and resolve any customer concerns or complaints regarding service
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service transactions
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an automotive service advisor or a similar customer service role
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, repair, and maintenance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals
- Proficient computer skills for maintaining records and communicating with customers
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle difficult customer situations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Valid driver's license
