As a Strategic Finance Associate, you will partner directly with sales, marketing, and product leadership to analyze and forecast key drivers of Zocdoc's financial performance and support strategic decision-making. We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical problem solver to join our team. Your day to day is…
- Provide strategic finance and analytical support to Zocdoc's business units through forecasting, reporting, modeling, financial analysis, and business case preparation
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product leadership teams to prioritize strategic initiatives and direct investment decisions
- Own financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and key performance metrics
- Monitor and evaluate financial performance against company forecasts/targets, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders, summarizing key findings and recommendations
- Support preparation of materials for Zocdoc's board and investors
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and analyses as needed to support strategic initiatives and business priorities, including customer acquisition and unit economic analyses
You'll be successful in this role if you have…
- 2-4 years of work experience in a highly analytical field, such as strategic finance, corporate finance, sales operations, investment banking, private equity, or consulting
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and develop insights
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with with advanced proficiency in Excel
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality
- Experience with SQL or business intelligence/data visualization platforms (e.g., Looker, Tableau), a plus!
- Experience in technology, healthcare, and/or consumer marketplaces a plus
- A strong academic record
