Job Description
Job Summary
The Fuel Supply & Emissions Manager is responsible for overseeing the fuel logistics, storage, and regulatory reporting for BaRupOn's power generation operations. This associate-level role focuses on coordinating fuel deliveries, monitoring usage, and ensuring emissions reporting and permitting compliance. The ideal candidate has experience in fuel handling, environmental tracking, and industrial or utility operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily and long-term fuel supply scheduling and delivery coordination
- Maintain records of fuel inventory, usage, and quality control
- Track emissions data and ensure compliance with state and federal air permits
- Support submission of emissions reports (e.g., TCEQ, EPA)
- Collaborate with plant operators to monitor fuel performance and combustion efficiency
- Maintain accurate MSDS files, safety documentation, and compliance logs
- Coordinate with suppliers, transport companies, and regulatory agencies
- Assist in environmental audits and internal inspections
- Maintain fuel handling procedures in compliance with OSHA and environmental standards
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Environmental Science, Power Plant Technology, Logistics, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in fuel logistics, plant operations, or environmental compliance
- Familiarity with fuel types (natural gas, diesel, LPG) and storage systems
- Basic understanding of air quality regulations and emissions tracking systems
- Strong organizational and reporting skills
- Experience with environmental reporting platforms (e.g., STEERS, eFACTS) a plus
- Comfortable working in industrial environments and coordinating with field staff
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Certifications
- HAZMAT handling certification or fuel delivery safety training
- OSHA 30
- Emissions reporting or environmental compliance training (preferred)
