The Supply Chain function is essential to Tropicana Brand Group's success by enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products. By improving warehouse operations, optimizing transportation routes, and refining inventory management practices, the team plays a critical role in streamlining processes. Collaborating with other departments to align strategies, the Supply Chain team ensures that Tropicana meets customer demands while maintaining a high standard of performance and cost-effectiveness. Your Next Pour: The Opportunity

We are looking to add a Supervisor, Supply Chain - Maintenance Repairs & Operation to our Stockroom team. This role will be responsible for effectively managing the Stockroom operations including meeting the operating budget, maintaining productivity of the work teams, and maintaining adherence with company standards and procedures. Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Ensure all safety rules, procedures, policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are followed by MRO Employees
  • Collaboration with the Purchasing and Maintenance Teams, to support the procurement strategy (cost, quality and service levels) of all related parts and supplies needed for the Packaging, Fruit and Juice and Utilities Operations.
  • Work with Bradenton Purchasing Organization to ensure adherence to company standards, policies and procedures for the timely receipt, inventory, storage and issuing of spare parts, chemicals and operating supplies.
  • Participate in the execution of the Bradenton portion of company sponsored cost reduction programs for parts and supplies.
  • Support customers in the plant operating groups to achieve goals for quality, safety and productivity by effectively managing the stockroom inventory and by resolving issues with parts/supplies availability. Manage the on-time receipt, issuance and delivery of all critical parts and supplies to avoid any disruption to plant operations.
  • Manage and maintain open and effective communications with all plant customers as well as Management and outside resources. Develop and manage clear expectations to plant incorporating MRO procedures and changes, including the optimization of the core repair/exchange process.
  • Support training initiatives for current user population and future SAP S4 Hana users related to the procurement of goods and goods issue processes.
  • Manage and oversee the stockroom as a 24-hour, seven day a week operation. Support production requirements and maintain all budgetary and administrative systems. Must be accessible to resolve critical issues when needed.
  • Manage supplier performance; facilitate internal and external meetings; report activities and progress to management; participate on cross-functional teams; contribute to cost savings.
  • Ensure MRO and satellite inventory counts are completed with accuracy and on time by MRO employees.
  • Collaborate with and support other TBG sites to share best practices, and drive MRO process improvements.

The Perfect Blend: Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of prior MRO Stockroom Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a union environment.
  • Food and beverage manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience with SAP S4 Hana, specifically with Material Management and/or Plant Maintenance preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Proven ability to influence decision-making and navigate complex business situations.
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.

Foundational Ingredients: Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Business Administration or a relevant major
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Must be located in Bradenton, FL surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.
  • Willingness to be onsite daily in the Tropicana manufacturing in Bradenton
  • This role requires lifting to 40 lbs. occasionally
