Your Role:

o Design, prototype, engineer, test, release and launch cutting edge features for ADAS/Autonomous Driving.

o Invent and create new technologies and solutions. Bring revolutionary products to market.

o Work closely with other teams to ensure a seamless and robust implementation.

Qualifications:

o Expertise in one or more of the following areas related to motion planning for ADAS/Autonomous Driving: trajectory planning, route planning, behavioral planning, optimization-based planning.

o Excellent production level c++ coding experience.

o Knowledge of autonomous systems (ADAS/Autonomous Driving and/or Robotics).

o Expertise in creating and managing complex embedded hardware-software systems.

o Excellent communication skills.

Advantageous:

o Knowledge of ROS or other middle-ware systems.

o Proficiency in additional programming languages (e.g. C/C++, Python, bash script, JavaScript, Matlab, etc).

o Experience using Git or similar distributed version control system.

o Knowledge of graph/tree-based decision making schemes or AI based decision making algorithms.

o Experience in component and system integration, testing and verification on unit, system and vehicle level. Experience in MIL/SIL/DIL/HIL testing. Experience with scenario test automation. Experience with CI tools like Jenkins, Gitlab-CI etc.

Education:

o MS minimum in the areas of Automotive Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineer or other related fields

o At least 2 years of work experience or a Ph.D. in a related field.

o Advanced degrees preferred

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)

Base Pay Range (Annual)

$154,000—$211,750 USD
