We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Consultant to join our expanding Tax Services team at Armanino. This newly created role is focused exclusively on generating new business and will be responsible for identifying and closing opportunities with new clients. The ideal candidate is a proactive, self-motivated "hunter" who thrives on building relationships, navigating complex organizations, and driving revenue growth through new tax service engagements.
This role will work closely with Armanino's robust Growth Office, which includes experienced marketing, sales enablement, and business development professionals. Together, they provide the strategy, tools, and resources needed to support successful go-to-market execution.
Job Responsibilities
Proactively source and generate new business opportunities for tax services across various industries and geographies
Conduct outbound prospecting, including cold outreach, email campaigns, and event networking, to create a pipeline of new prospects
Qualify leads and collaborate with technical tax professionals to advance deals through the sales pipeline
Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients using CRM tools (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics CRM)
Partner with Armanino's Growth Office to leverage marketing campaigns, analytics, and enablement tools to support business development efforts
Assist with the development of proposals, presentations, pitch materials, and RFP responses
Stay current on tax service offerings, industry trends, and competitive positioning
Provide regular reporting on pipeline metrics, lead conversion, and sales activities
Represent Armanino at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
Provide insights to improve sales processes, client onboarding, and go-to-market strategies
Requirements
Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within professional services, consulting, or financial services
Demonstrative success in securing new business through proactive outreach and relationship development
Experience engaging and selling to senior-level decision-makers, including CEOs, CFOs, and board members, as well as influential referral sources
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling or working within tax, accounting, or financial advisory services
Familiarity with tax service offerings

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. The compensation range for this position: $100,000 - $200,000 plus commission. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location. Eligible employees at certain levels can participate in a discretionary long-term financial incentive plan, subject to plan participation rules.
