Job Description

ESSENTIAL TASKS

The tasks listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional tasks related to the type of work of the class as necessary.

Responsible for entering Daily Activity Worksheets.

Responsible for the oversight of the division's One Stop Customer Service centralized switchboard receiving requests for assistance and responding to questions pertaining to the division / department's operations, programs, services, and projects.

Provide support for the work orders system, requests for assistance, inquiries, and complaints, and proactively provides resolutions by coordinating with key employees to ensure an effective progress in resolving issues.

Create and prepare an assortment of reports, presentations, and documents related to operations, projects, and daily activities.

Proactively identify and evaluate areas for process and policy improvement to prevent customer services and requests for assistance issues, and work with management on programs and policies changes.

Manage requests for assistance of event setups, seminars, conferences, meetings, and special projects.

Coordinates the requests for assistance to transport and dispose of surplus inventory and maintain records, files, and a database of surplus activities.

Responsible to effectively prioritize and execute stressful and difficult situations, and to perform strong problem-solving skills.

May assist in coordinating programs and community service's activities and attend community meetings.

Perform general clerical activities and other related duties.

All other duties as assigned.

VOCATIONAL/EDUCATIONAL PREPARATION:

Requires completion of high school degree/GED and one to two years of experience, or requires Associate's degree, vocational technical degree or specialized training that is equivalent to satisfactory completion of two years of college education with an emphasis in organizational behavioral, secretarial science, business administration or a closely related field.
