Core Duties of a Customer Sales Associate

 
  • Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions for Verizon products and services, aiming to exceed sales targets.
  • Clearly articulate the features and benefits of wireless plans, devices, and accessories to facilitate informed customer decisions.
  • Efficiently guide customers through new account setups, service upgrades, and data transfers.
  • Offer initial troubleshooting for common issues and escalate complex problems to the appropriate support teams.
  • Process all sales, returns, and exchanges accurately and in compliance with company policies.
  • Continuously update knowledge on new technology, service updates, and special offers to provide accurate customer information.
  • Collaborate effectively with Customer Sales Associates and other team members to share knowledge, support initiatives, and contribute to a productive sales environment.

Essential Attributes needed by a Customer Sales Associate

 
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
  • Prior experience in sales or a customer-facing role (highly advantageous).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure.
