Who You Are:

As the Payroll Coordinator, you will perform and coordinate an array of payroll responsibilities,

working cross-functionally and touching every corner of the company. This role will support all

aspects of payroll processing and compliance, with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and exceptional

people skills. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with excellent communication,

organizational skills, and comfortable handling sensitive information with discretion. This role offers

exposure to a wide range of payroll operations and cross-functional collaboration, providing a strong

foundation for continued growth within the organization.

The Difference You Will Make:

  • Perform full-cycle bi-weekly payroll processing duties, including both pre- and post-payroll tasks.

  • Manage the creation and processing of various Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) import files into Workday.

  • Audit and ensure accurate integration of point of sales time tracking system, Upserve, data into payroll system.

  • Process and maintain garnishment and child support orders.

  • Fulfill payroll-related documentation requests (e.g., payslips, W-2s).

  • Investigate and help resolve employee pay issues and questions.

  • Administer and maintain pay cards for employees as needed.

  • Respond to ACH return notifications and correct invalid direct deposit information to ensure timely and accurate payroll distribution.

  • Assign and update local tax information in Workday.

  • Support year-end processing.

  • Oversee the intake and distribution of HR-related correspondence, ensuring it reaches the appropriate recipients within the team.

  • Assist with routine payroll reporting and audits.

  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support the goals and objectives of the team.

  • Provide back-up support for other team members as needed.

What You'll Bring:

  • Ability to become proficient in Human Resource Information System (HRIS), Workday.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Suite, with ability to learn new tools quickly.

  • Project management skills, strong organizational skills, a high degree of accuracy, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to maintain the utmost confidentiality with all sensitive matters.

  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion, critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to collaborate and develop strong working relationships with a variety of cross-functional partners at all levels of the organization.

Direct Reports and Reporting Relationship

This role will not have any direct reports but will be expected to achieve results by working with others within the organization, regardless of the reporting relationship.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred. 1 to 2 years of experience in payroll, accounting, or HR Administration.

Location and Travel:

The position will be based in the Columbus, Ohio home office, with infrequent travel to local and out-of- state markets, including but not limited to Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Texas, Denver, and Florida.
