Job Description
Mechanical Engineering Tutor
The Raymond B. Jones College of Engineering Mechanical Engineering department is searching for junior- and senior-level students to hold regular tutoring sessions for freshman- and sophomore-level courses (e.g. Physics, Statics, Dynamics, etc.). Students will be required to be trained before staring the position. Other responsibilities include reporting to the chair regarding hours, documenting tutoring sessions, etc. Applicants must have shown strong academic performance or have a strong recommendation from a current professor. Strong academic performance includes a GPA of 3.2 (or higher) and/or a B average (or better) in freshman- and sophomore-level engineering courses. Applicants must be actively enrolled in engineering courses at Lipscomb University.
May be eligble for Federal Work Study.
