CACI is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to support our customer, U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), in Doral, Florida. This position is contingent upon award of the USSOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES).

Key Responsibilities

Data Scientist SME:

  • Knowledge of statistical programming languages including R & Python; database query languages including SQL and Hive. Understanding of Linux and Networking concepts.

  • Experience in data science with a strong focus on deep learning and natural language processing

  • Familiarity with Java and C++.

  • Applied statistical skills, including knowledge of statistical tests, distributions, regression, maximum likelihood estimators, etc.

  • Knowledge of machine learning methods like k-Nearest Neighbors, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests.

  • Familiarity with cloud computing and containerization.

  • Hands-on experience with data science tools and a Problem-solving aptitude.

  • Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives

  • Possesses domain and expert technical knowledge

  • May supervise others

Required Skills:

  • Master's Degree in STEM and 10 years of experience

  • DoD Secret security clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$104,200-$229,200
