  • 75% Patrolling with another officer or alone in an LPR vehicle in an assigned area; or ticketing on-foot, writing parking violations.
  • 20% Relieving booth personnel for breaks and cover for the booth personnel in the event of their absence.
  • 5% Work events which include home football and basketball games, Commencement, and student housing move-in.

Required Qualifications

  • Good command of the English language, both verbal and written, as evidenced in application materials and interview.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Prior work experience with customer service as demonstrated in the application materials.
  • Students awarded Federal Work Study preferred.
  • Works well on a team as demonstrated in the application materials.

Position Requirements

During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: (1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or (2) be pre-enrolled in the upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or (3) be enrolled in summer session or (4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments).
