Data Governance Manager
Location: Onsite | Hybrid | Remote Options Available

We’ve partnered with a company that plays a vital role in supporting U.S. Government contracts and protecting sensitive data. They’re seeking a Data Governance Manager to lead enterprise-wide governance initiatives and ensure compliance with federal regulations related to FCI, CUI, and other regulated data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures
- Maintain inventory and controls for sensitive and regulated data
- Train staff on data protection best practices
- Ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-171, DFARS, ITAR, and EAR
- Lead audits, assessments, and certification efforts (e.g., JCP, CMMC)
Requirements
What You’ll Need:
- 3+ years in data governance, data protection, or compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Familiarity with federal data security regulations
- Strong communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Preferred: Experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCP, or CCA)
