• Job Type: Full-Time (Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
• Pay Range: $117,200 + (Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity)

Job Overview

 

We’re looking for a Senior Security Engineer to take a hands-on role in strengthening our infrastructure and protecting our networks. This position is on-site only and ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex security challenges, leading incident responses, and mentoring team members in a fast-paced environment.

 

What You’ll Do

 

• Security Architecture & Design
  • Build secure networks, systems, and applications
  • Integrate security best practices into DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Threat Detection & Response
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents using SIEM, EDR, and other tools
  • Lead forensic investigations and root cause analyses
  • Conduct tabletop exercises and update incident response plans
• Vulnerability & Risk Management
  • Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
  • Track and validate remediation efforts
• Security Tools & Automation
  • Manage SIEM (Splunk), EDR (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne), DLP, IDS/IPS
  • Automate security operations and integrate tools with IT infrastructure
• Governance, Risk & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, GDPR, and more
  • Support internal and external audits with clear documentation
• Leadership & Collaboration
  • Mentor junior team members
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and leadership teams

 

What We’re Looking For

 

• Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or security engineering
  • Strong understanding of network, system, and application security
  • Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud security tools
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM and EDR tools
• Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications: CISSP, OSCP, GSEC, or AWS Security Specialty
  • Knowledge of container security (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with IAM and zero-trust architecture

• Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Location: Las Vegas HQ – hybrid
• Travel: May be required on occasion
