The Program Director/Practicum Coordinator for Medical Assisting will be responsible for all aspects of the program and internship, including but not limited to:

1) Administration, organization, supervision of the Medical Assistant program.

2) Continuous quality review and improvement of the program.

3) Academic oversight, including curriculum planning and development, and outcomes.

4) Select and approve appropriate practicum sites. Coordinate the assignment of students to sites.

5) Ensure documentation of the evaluation and progression of practicum performance.

6) Ensure orientation to the program's requirements of the personnel who supervise or instruct students at practicum sites.

Qualifications

Master's Degree

Experience in teaching at the postsecondary or vocational/technical education level

Ability to become certified as a CMA, CCMA, or NCMA

Medical or allied health education or training

Experience related to or familiarity with the role of medical assistants

Supervisory experience preferred

This is a Exempt Position

SALARY:

$70,000 - $75,000 per year.

The selected candidate's actual base pay for this role will take into account a wide range of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. At Bryant & Stratton College, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Information about the total compensation package for this position will be provided during the interview process.
