Job Summary:
The Senior Director is responsible for overseeing accounting operations for Trimont Global and all its subsidiaries as well the company's Financial Management business line.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, monitor and manage month end close schedules to ensure that all entities are closed timely
- Perform month end consolidations and ensure monthly General Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP) financial statements are prepared for all required entities
- Partner with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team lead to ensure seamless financial reporting
- Ensure financial results are reported in accordance with US GAAP or other basis of accounting as required
- Stay abreast of accounting rules and assist controller in implementation of new accounting standards
- Understand audit requirements for each entity and serve as the point person for preparation/compilation of audit documents
- Understand tax timelines for each entity and serve as the point person for preparation/compilation of documents required for tax return preparation
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual debt compliance calculations and reporting
- Serve as NetSuite administrator and lead the effort increase efficiency of system processes
- Effectively allocate responsibilities among team members and review their work product
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of transaction processing and reporting
- Lead and develop a high-performing accounting team through coaching, training and performance management.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or other financial related area.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required
- Advanced knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) required and some knowledge of International Finance Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Proficiency with accounting software
- 9+ years of related experience
- 5+ years of managerial experience
- Ability to develop and implement improvements or recommendations
- Attention to detail and reporting timeframes
- Ability to manage projects efficiently

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
