The Corporate Counsel, Food Safety, Regulatory & Contracts will practice across a wide range of disciplines, including contracting, advertising, product liability, food manufacturing, and regulation. This role provides day-to-day legal services for quality, sales, and marketing teams, and supports the food safety and environmental regulatory needs of the business.

COMPENSATION: $165,000 - $195,000 DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Practices across a wide range of disciplines including contracting, advertising and products liability, food manufacturing and regulation, under the direction and supervision of the Executive Vice President General Counsel.
  • Provides day-to-day legal services for quality, sales, & marketing teams.
  • Negotiates, drafts, and reviews various types of contracts for execution in connection with supply, production, marketing, & distribution of products.
  • Supports food safety and environmental regulatory needs of the business.
  • Cultivates and maintains channels of communication with key legal and business stakeholders in the organization.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
  • 5-7 years of experience.
