Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Electrical & Electronics (E/E) Systems Architect with expertise in Power Electronics to join our cutting-edge System Engineering team. The Role:
- Architect and develop power electronic systems for EV applications, including chargers, DC-DC converters, inverters, and battery management systems (BMS).
- Drive system-level analysis, defining requirements, interfaces, and trade-offs for optimal performance and cost.
- Conduct design trade-off studies of power converter topologies, ensuring efficiency and robustness.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration, working with mechanical, software, validation, and manufacturing teams.
- Define system safety and reliability requirements, applying functional safety (FuSa), FTA, and FMEA methodologies.
- Support prototyping, testing, debugging, and validation of power electronics architectures.
Qualifications:
- Strong foundation in power electronics.
- Understanding of power conversion topologies (AC/DC, DC/DC, DC/AC) and their control strategies.
- Passion for electric vehicles.
Preferred:
- Experience in automotive power electronics design and working with Tier 1 suppliers.
- Hands-on experience in debugging, testing, and validating power electronics systems.
- Knowledge of system engineering principles, including System V, FMEA, and trade-off analysis.
- Exposure to power electronics control software, including FPGA/Verilog programming.
- Background in functional safety (ISO 26262) for power electronics applications.
- Experience with Formula SAE Electric or other EV-related projects.
Education:
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in electronic or electrical engineering.
