Job Description
Graco manufactures and markets premium equipment to move, measure, control, dispense and spray a wide variety of fluid and powder materials. What does that mean? Well, we pump peanut butter into your jar, and the oil in your car. We glue the soles of your shoes, the glass in your windows and the screen on your phone. We spray the finish on your vehicle, coatings on your pills, the paint on your house and texture on your walls. Graco is part of your daily life.
What You Will Do at Graco
Inside Sales Strategy
- Proactively reach out to potential customers via phone, email, and online platforms, specifically focusing on B Distributors.
- Drive growth with B-tier distributors by leveraging customer relations management (CRM) to systematically load and manage sales opportunities, ensuring they are actively progressed through to closed.
- Generate qualified leads through research and identify potential sales opportunity.
- Drive to meet Graco sales goals, sales quality and productivity metrics.
- Maintain a high level of responsiveness to customer inquiries, ensuring prompt and effective communication that addresses client needs and questions.
- Align with marketing team to push product launches to B-tier distributors, recording activity in CRM.
- Manage, organize and maintain customer records, contacts and opportunities in CRM, and pricing/discount structures for accounts
- Qualify incoming inquiries to determine the appropriate response, either addressing the request directly or routing it efficiently to the relevant department for resolution.
- Work closely with Channel sales reps as well as Channel partners to align on Graco's growth strategy, ensuring structured execution and joint efforts that drive market expansion and performance.
- Share best practices with the team to promote a collaborative team environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring to Graco
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of business to business sales experience via telephone, internet, video and social media, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Solid track record of achievement
- CRM experience, preferably Salesforce.com
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Strong written and oral communication skills, problem solver, relationship builder, excellent time management, and team collaborator
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong organizational skills
- Technical aptitude
- Willingness to travel up to 15%

The base pay range for this position is listed below, exclusive of fringe benefits or other compensation. If you are hired, your final base hourly rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, competencies, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
