Job Description

Arcosa Shoring Products, is seeking a Unique Customer Service Rep for our Westland, MI location. Lansing & Grand Rapids is one of our satellite offices/yards. As a Unique Customer Service Rep, not only will you be answering phone calls and maintaining the yard, but this position would also prefer that you hold a CDL Class A.

Arcosa Shoring Products makes trench shoring equipment for the construction industry. Our dedicated team builds high-quality trench shields and shoring products that are made to last.

Schedule: Monday- Friday: 7:30 am- 4:30 pm

What you'll do:

  • Provides new and existing customers with the best possible service in relation to billing inquiries, service requests, suggestions, and complaints.
  • Includes Call Center- Outbound, Call Center/Customer Service and e-Commerce Customer Service.
  • Resolves customer inquiries and complaints fairly and effectively.
  • Provides product and service information to customers and identifies upselling opportunities to maintain and increase income streams from customer relationships.
  • Recommends and implements programs to support customer needs.
  • Provides customer services relating to sales, sales promotions, installations, and communications.
  • Ensures that good customer relations are maintained, and customer claims and complaints are resolved fairly and effectively and in accordance with the consumer laws.
  • Develops organization wide initiatives to proactively inform and educate customers.
  • Develops improvement plans in response to customer surveys.
  • Responsibilities are within the Customer Support/Operations Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines.
  • Maintain Office Space

Other Duties Include:

  • Make delivers on an as needed basis
  • Maintain yard and all yard equipment
  • Operating equipment such as Hi-Lo's, boom trucks
  • Inventory
  • Ordering necessities for daily operation

Desired qualifications:

  • Customer Service at least 1 year experience
  • Office Skills at least 1 year experience
  • Knowledge of operating equipment
  • Valid CDL Class A
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Exceptional Attendance is a must
  • Excellent Organizational Skills
