Job Description

We think one of the most inspiring parts of working at Peregrine is seeing the ways our customers use Peregrine to solve some of their most complex operations and address their biggest challenges. We're looking for someone to join the team who is not only a master of their craft - cinematography and post production - but also someone who has a vision for how to bring these stories to life that feels unexpected, engaging and shows just how seriously our customers take their roles in their communities. The ideal candidate balances vision with execution. They can execute on everything from the straight forward to the unique with the same level of thoughtfulness and creativity. This role is key to how we build our brand and will work across a number of different teams to help bring it to life.

The director of photography will play a foundational role in telling some of our most compelling stories across earned, owned and paid media channels. They will not only be a master of their crafts - cinematography and post production - but they will be a creative partner to the CMO and the marketing team, sharing their vision for the best approach. As the first leader of this function, you will be both hands-on and strategic. You and your team will own category definition, positioning, messaging, product launches, sales enablement and impact stories. You and your team will work closely with product, engineering, sales, and our implementation and deployment teams.

What You'll Do

  • Film high-quality video content, including interviews, b-roll, product features, events, and campaigns
  • Own lighting, audio, and camera setup to ensure cinematic-quality visuals
  • Edit videos from start to finish, including color grading, sound design, and motion graphics (where applicable)
  • Collaborate with creative, marketing, and talent teams to shape video narratives that align with business goals
  • Manage media ingestion, storage, and organization
  • Maintain consistency with brand voice, style, and quality standards
  • Stay up to date on visual trends, gear, editing techniques, and storytelling formats

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in both cinematography and video editing
  • Strong portfolio or reel showcasing full-cycle video projects
  • Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or After Effects)
  • Deep understanding of visual composition, pacing, and narrative flow
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across departments
  • Bonus: animation or motion graphics skills, color grading experience, or studio setup knowledge

Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 Annually + Benefits + Equity (if applicable) + Bonus (if applicable)
