Job Overview

As a Crew Leader in our Construction Department you are offer the opportunity for personal and professional growth, as well as the chance to work on hands-on and outdoor projects. This role involves directing outdoor construction projects, providing comprehensive worker training, ensuring safe and efficient equipment operation, and managing all related administrative functions.
Responsibilities and Duties
Direct and supervise crew members on job sites.
Analyze and interpret landscape architectural designs and construction documents.
Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (e.g., skid steers, excavators, power tools).
Perform tasks such as grading, digging, planting, and hardscape installation.
Oversee the installation of various landscape features (e.g., patios, walkways, planting beds, irrigation systems).
Communicate effectively with crew members, clients, and management.
Job Requirements
A strong foundation in landscape construction techniques, including hardscape installation (patios, walkways, retaining walls) and planting.
Knowledge of tools, materials and equipment used in landscaping.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to provide clear written and verbal instructions.
A commercial driver's license (CDL) is essential, typically Class A, B or D depending on the vehicle and load.
Experience in a leadership role would be advantageous.
