Emplify Health is seeking a visionary Employee Wellbeing Program Consultant to champion a culture of health and vitality across our organization.

The Employee Wellbeing Program Consultant will lead the development and implementation of comprehensive wellbeing initiatives aligned with lifestyle medicine, aimed at enhancing the health and wellness of our workforce. This role involves collaborating with Population Health leadership to implement strategic initiatives that encompass all pillars of lifestyle medicine, including physical activity, stress management, healthful eating, avoidance of risky substances, sleep, and positive relationships. The consultant will provide training and resources to leadership, empowering them to effectively support staff in achieving wellness goals and modeling healthy behaviors.

Additionally, they will lead a team of wellness champions to advocate for health initiatives and facilitate a steering committee to oversee policies and gather employee feedback for impactful changes.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborates with Population Health leadership to implement strategic initiatives for comprehensive employee wellbeing programming that aligns with all pillars of lifestyle medicine, including physical activity, stress management, healthful eating, avoidance of risky substances, sleep, and positive relationships.

  • Provides training and resources to leadership on effectively supporting staff in achieving wellness goals, modeling healthy behaviors, and encouraging active participation in wellness activities.

  • Collaborates to ensure the availability of nutritious food options in cafeterias and vending machines to promote healthy eating habits among employees.

  • Leads and inspires a team of wellness champions to advocate for health and wellbeing initiatives throughout the organization, fostering collaboration across departments to enhance programming.

  • Facilitates a steering committee responsible for overseeing policies and the physical work environment, actively gathering employee feedback to propose and implement impactful changes.

  • Creates an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere in all wellbeing programming to ensure accessibility for all employees.

  • Analyzes participation data, clinical outcomes, and employee satisfaction to inform continuous improvements in wellbeing initiatives.

  • Develops and monitors policies in collaboration with leadership that foster a culture of wellbeing across all work locations, integrating lifestyle medicine practices into the organizational framework.

  • Stay current with industry trends, research, and best practices in employee wellbeing and lifestyle medicine to continuously enhance and incorporate innovative approaches into programming.

  • Promotes resources that support mental health and mindfulness practices for all employees, emphasizing the importance of stress management and positive relationships as part of a holistic approach to wellbeing.

What You'll Need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, or a related field required.

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in health promotion, including demonstrated expertise in system-level facilitation, project and program management, as well as program design, implementation, and evaluation.

  • Certification/ Licensure: National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach certification is preferred. Candidates without certification may be required or given the opportunity to obtain this certification through Emplify Health after hire, depending on business needs and leadership discretion.

  • Strong ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

  • Passion for promoting health and wellbeing in the workplace.

  • Proven interpersonal skills, including the ability to build strong working relationships across an organization and the ability to lead and influence across all levels.
