Job Description

Summary

The Sales Support Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining and managing inventory for both store and corporate supplies. Working closely with the Sales Support Manager and Fixture Purchasing Specialist, this teammate will independently handle tasks such as reviewing and ordering supplies through various methods while actively seeking opportunities for cost savings to meet financial targets. The teammate in this role will consistently demonstrate strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and the ability to adapt and reprioritize tasks as needed.

Procurement and Inventory Management

  • Assist with monitoring and maintaining optimal supply inventory levels, while researching and evaluating pricing options to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Evaluate vendor bids and select appropriate suppliers, preparing purchase orders accordingly.
  • Research, analyze, and present up-to-date supply pricing as requested.
  • Assist with placing supply orders for stores and the corporate office, using multiple vendors to fulfill these needs.
  • Utilize Excel for the creation and compilation of data and reports.
  • Assist with the organization of non-merchandise samples.

Event and Communications Support

  • Support the preparation of materials and assist in the execution of Manager Meetings, Leadership Academy, and other corporate events as needed.
  • Maintain professional communication with Store Managers, Teammates, Corporate Leadership, and vendors.

General

  • Fulfill mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of customer service while contributing to a positive team spirit.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Ability to operate a motor vehicle and complete errands based on business needs

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the Teammate regularly works in an office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
