The Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our high-performing sales and distribution team in Victoria to work with existing clients and identify new clients to drive opportunities, grow market share, and achieve sales targets.
Business development is a significant portion of your role, focusing on generating new business through cold-calling to build and expand your portfolio network. You will secure new business and manage sales pipelines to achieve targets.
With the support of a strong team and a base of existing clients to get you started, you will continue to manage and grow key accounts, service your existing client base, and nurture partner-driven relationships to promote Netwealth products and services.
Role responsibilities include;
Marketing Netwealth and its products to new and existing advisers
Selling Netwealth products to advisor groups to assist in expanding the Netwealth business and its distribution network
Meeting or exceeding your agreed budget
Build, maintain, and foster relationships with the adviser base
Be a key source of market sentiment and competitor information
Maintain your knowledge of economic matters and industry issues
About you;
You have prior experience in a sales, business development or relationship focussed role, preferably in the platform space
You are an excellent communicator both verbally and in writing
You have strong influencing, negotiation and problem-solving skills
You are self-motivated with excellent time management & organisational skills
You can work autonomously but also love collaborating with others
You have a curious and agile mindset and an ability to adapt to change
You are passionate about providing outstanding service to your customers
You have a demonstrated technical knowledge of the platform market and the financial services industry
