Job Description
Roth Roofing is seeking a motivated and experienced Roofing Salesman to join their team in the Tri-State area. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong background in roofing sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to exceed targets. The Roofing Salesman will be responsible for generating new business, building lasting client relationships, and promoting the company's high-quality roofing services. Working closely with project management, the salesperson will ensure that all projects meet Roth Roofing's standards for excellence and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within commercial roofing markets.
- Conduct thorough roof inspections and provide detailed, accurate estimates for roofing projects.
- Present tailored roofing solutions, including materials, services, and warranties, to prospective clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster repeat business and referrals.
- Manage and track sales leads, follow-ups, and customer interactions using CRM software.
- Collaborate with project managers and installation teams to ensure timely, high-quality project execution.
- Prepare and deliver clear and detailed sales proposals, contracts, and documentation.
- Stay current with industry trends, building codes, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
- Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets and contribute to the company's growth objectives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in roofing sales or a related construction sales role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of roofing materials, installation processes, and industry regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with diverse clients.
- Demonstrated ability to provide accurate estimates and deliver customized solutions.
- Self-driven and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in roofing or sales is a plus.
Compensation:
- Base salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year (commensurate with experience).
