Job Title: Sales Development Representative (SDR)
Job Type: Full-time
Location: In-person / Hybrid
Compensation: $70-80K base, 2x OTE, uncapped commission

Our partner is a venture backed startup redefining commerce and logistics. After raising $5.5M from Susa Ventures, First Round and Box Group, the company has grown to mid seven figures in ARR, tripling revenue over the last six months. To keep this momentum, the team is expanding its SDR and growth group with ability to own the full sales cycle and close deals.
Job Summary:
As a Sales Development Representative, you'll be an integral part of outbound sales efforts, working in-person with our teams at innovative companies. Your role will focus on executing strategic outreach, qualifying leads, and directly contributing to the development of sales processes. This position provides you the opportunity to engage with key decision-makers and drive growth within fast moving startups, while working alongside experienced leadership in a collaborative, in-person setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute strategic outbound prospecting (primarily via cold emailing, cold calling, and in-person interactions).
- Conduct targeted research to identify and engage high-value prospects in the local area.
- Utilize essential SDR tools (CRM, outreach platforms, prospecting databases) to maintain a strong, in-person sales pipeline.
- Continuously refine outreach messaging and processes based on feedback and results.
- Document all interactions meticulously in the CRM to facilitate seamless handoffs to the sales team.
- Collaborate closely with leadership and local team members to refine and improve sales strategies.
Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in SDR or similar outbound sales roles, ideally within startups or high-growth environments.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce), outreach software (Outreach, Apollo, SalesLoft), and research platforms (ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage senior executives effectively, both in-person and remotely.
- Self-motivated, autonomous, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic in-person setting.
- Highly organized with attention to detail in managing outreach and maintaining CRM data.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in early-stage startups or with fast-growing companies.
- Familiarity with sales automation tools and optimizing outreach strategies.
