Seasonal Retail Associate – $15.00/hr – Paid Weekly!
Are you looking for a fun, fast-paced opportunity with weekly pay? Join our team at the Notre Dame Bookstore to help support a high-energy football team!
Available Shifts:
Thursday to Saturday: Full coverage needed – shifts range from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM
- Most shifts during football weekends will run 6–8 hours, depending on availability
- All team members must attend one onboarding session:
- Wednesday, 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Friday, 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Job Overview – Seasonal Retail Associate
This is a temporary, part-time position to support the bookstore with high demand during football game weekends. You'll assist in a variety of departments, with flexible schedules available including opening, mid-day, or closing shifts.
What You’ll Do:
- Be available to work every home football weekend
- Provide excellent customer service—greet shoppers, answer questions, and help with purchases
- Organize shelves, maintain product displays, and keep the store neat and presentable
- Assist with sales transactions including cash, credit card, and financial aid payments
Physical Requirements:
- Comfortable moving around the store for your entire shift
- Able to stand for long periods
- Frequent lifting of 25–50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
- Occasional reaching, bending, stooping, and use of ladders
What You Bring:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Positive, energetic attitude with excellent communication skills
- Strong customer service mindset and willingness to assist others
- Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills
- Flexible availability, especially during game weekends
- Must be able to pass a background check
