Utility Cleaner - Contract, long-term

This is an onsite position in Bridgman, MI

Your Day-to-Day:

• Industrial cleaning inside power plant buildings and may include office buildings and restrooms.
• Removal of dirt and dust from floor area and connecting rooms, ramps and walkways using standard cleaning techniques.
• Dust and damp wipe horizontal surfaces, i.e.: ducts, pipes, sills, ledges, and handrails.
• Dispose of all liquid cleaning solutions per our client.
• Pull trash and replace the liners.
• Operate walk-behind floor cleaners in open traffic area.
• Provide facility users with a healthy environment by using appropriate cleaning methods and products.
• Protect everyone's safety by using properly labeled chemicals, warning others of hazards, e.g. appropriate use of wet floor signs and reporting safety concerns.
• Follow company and site regulations, procedures, safety standards and expectations.
• Stand for long periods of time, walk between buildings which would include being out in weather elements when traversing, withstand warm environment.
• Lift up to 40 pounds.

Who You Are:

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

• High School Diploma or educational equivalent.
• Be able to pass criminal background, drug/alcohol screen (including medical and recreational marijuana and CBD oil), and employment testing.
• Are someone who is local to the area

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $12/hr to $17/hr.
