Who You’ll Work With
The best and brightest tradespeople, virtual design, pre-fabrication, and project team members work at Stansell Electric. This position resides in our Virtual Construction team; focused on 3D modeling for BIM coordination and prefabrication.
About the Position
The Virtual Construction Project Manager is responsible for the daily management, supervision, and successful completion of BIM coordination for construction projects. This includes attending BIM coordination meetings, managing BIM deliverables and schedule, BIM QA/QC and communicating with the delivery teams to ensure project needs are met.
How You’ll Make a Difference
- Serve as the primary liaison between the SEC Delivery team and the Virtual Construction (VC) team by facilitating communication across project stakeholders to ensure alignment and accountability.
- Lead internal coordination by organizing and leading regularly scheduled meetings with Virtual Construction (VC), Prefab, and Field.
- Lead project initiation tasks, including contract and spec review, schedule creation and action planning.
- Manage production and timelines of all BIM and Prefab deliverables in alignment with the project schedule.
- Monitor and verify that all Virtual Construction and Fabrication (VCF) efforts remain on schedule.
- Attend BIM coordination meetings and collaborate closely with field leadership and project management teams.
- Facilitate conflict resolution between design, construction documents, and BIM.
- Maintain and update the project SmartSheet schedule regularly. Includes providing start/completion dates, progress updates and feedback as needed.
- Maintain accountability to deliverable dates using SmartSheet and collaborating with Prefab for delivery scheduling.
- Strengthen relationships between the VCF team and SEC Delivery teams by leading collaboration to ensure seamless integration of construction and virtual design workflows.
- Oversee the execution and success of assigned projects and deliverables by ensuring all project needs are met through close collaboration with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Foremen.

- Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, estimates, contracts, and other typical construction related documents.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Certification in project management preferred.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or related field OR relevant experience
Experience
- 2+ years of experience in electrical construction (we will consider less experienced candidates provided they can demonstrate their willingness to learn, flexibility, pleasant demeanor, and superior intelligence and have relevant experience in other jobs)
- Familiarity with electrical materials and construction methods, including requirements for different construction types.
- Familiarity with BIM coordination.
