Job Description
Salary range: $48,000-$55,000 per year.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Assistant to support our sales team with various administrative and operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain bid documents, logs, and schedules
- Input take-offs and other project data into internal systems or spreadsheets
- Answer and direct incoming calls, taking detailed messages as needed
- Prepare and send letters, emails, and other forms of correspondence
- Assist with organizing bid packages and proposal submissions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM or project management tools
- Provide administrative support to sales representatives and estimators
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely follow-up on client requests
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- Prior experience in sales support, administrative, or a construction office role is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with bid management or construction software is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Physical Demands:
The Sales Assistant role is primarily an office-based position that requires prolonged periods of sitting, frequent use of a computer and telephone, and occasional light lifting of files or office supplies. The role may also involve walking short distances within the office or job site trailers, as needed, to coordinate with team members or access documents.
