About the Role:
As a Clinical Information Systems (CIS) Team Leader, you will serve as a key clinical and technical liaison across the organization for the effective use, implementation, and optimization of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other clinical information applications. You will oversee a team of Clinical Information System Specialists and collaborate across departments to ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care through innovative technology solutions.
How You’ll Drive Our Mission Forward:
Project Leadership & Collaboration:

Manage and monitor the planning, tracking, and implementation of clinical information system projects

Serve as the main point of contact for EHR-related initiatives in coordination with the Clinical Information Systems Director

Work directly with physicians, providers, practice administrators, IT teams, and end users to implement best practices in system usage
Team Oversight & Support:

Plan, coordinate, assign, and evaluate the daily work of Clinical Information Systems Specialists

Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members to ensure high-quality project execution

Oversee support tickets and end-user system issues, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication
System Administration & Enhancement:

Serve as a resource and educator for system functionality and upgrades

Oversee system updates and support quality assurance testing for new features and modules

Track project documentation, including clinical, technical, and non-clinical information

Evaluate enhancement requests and assess future development ideas to improve system efficiency
Operational Excellence:

Ensure project milestones and goals are met on time and within scope

Maintain detailed documentation and reporting to track team and project progress

Reflect the CIS mission of high-quality care in decision-making and strategic recommendations

Support other Clinical Information Systems projects as assigned by the Director
Travel Requirement:

Regular travel to CIS locations is required to ensure effective team coordination and project support
What Makes You a Great Match:

Clinical healthcare background with strong knowledge of care delivery workflows

Experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and clinical information systems

Leadership experience with project coordination or team oversight

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or other licensed medical professional preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Detail-oriented and self-directed, with critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Ability to work collaboratively with both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
