Job Description
Position Overview:
Pettus Ford De Soto is seeking a reliable, professional, and courteous Pickup & Delivery Driver to join our service team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in providing an exceptional customer experience by transporting customer vehicles to and from our service department. If you’re detail-oriented, friendly, and have a clean driving record, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely pick up and deliver customer vehicles for service appointments
• Ensure timely and efficient transportation of vehicles between customer locations and the dealership
• Perform vehicle walk-arounds and take photos prior to transport
• Accurately document vehicle mileage, condition, and pickup/drop-off times
• Provide a friendly, professional interaction with customers
• Communicate with the service team regarding scheduling and delivery updates
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and represent Pettus Ford De Soto with integrity
Requirements:
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Ability to handle and drive a variety of vehicles, including trucks and SUVs and the occasional manual transmission.
• Must be able to work in varying weather conditions and be on your feet for extended periods
