Eli Lilly and Company seeks a Design Verification Lead (R4-R5) to coordinate all design for the Project Manager during all design phases of projects and be responsible in delivering a conceptual design review foreach project. Develop and maintain design schedules to meet project needs and expedite design decisions. Develop user requirements, and then ensure that designs meet that approved intent and resolve design-related problems. Identity / assess value engineering opportunities. Examine areas of inefficiency and develop strategies for improvements. Act as the accountable party for discrepancy tracking and management in the Verification phase. Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures, project delivery work instructions, and best practices for design/verification. #LI-DNI

Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field followed by 6 years of progressively responsible experience with manufacturing or engineering in support of pharmaceutical or API networks. Experience must include a minimum of: 4 years of experience with design and verification processes, capital project delivery, and A/E design activities; 4 years of experience with project management and leading internal and external resources; 4 years of experience facilitating issue resolution, anticipating scope changes, and implementing solutions safely with quality, speed, and value; and 4 years of experience reviewing equipment specifications, performing equipment testing and qualification, and maintaining GMP readiness. Part time telecommuting may be permitted. 25% domestic and international travel required. #LI-DNI

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is

$157,471

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
