Job Description
FUNCTION
The Banquet Server is responsible for ensuring all Guests are provided a memorable experience in our event spaces. Each Team Member ensures the venue is clean, organized and the event space is ready on time for each event. They are to follow instructions from our events leadership to ensure each Guest is taken care of during their event.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for taking orders from patrons and returning these orders in a timely manner.
- Keep area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Responsible to perform "responsible alcohol service" with regards to patron limitations and pass any/all responsible alcohol service training, if needed.
- Be able to carry serving trays full of dinner plates.
- Ensure the safety and security of Team Members and Guests.
- Completes room set up, following the floor plan as well as banquet event order.
- Executes table setting, buffet setups, displays, and bars following the banquet event order.
- Conducts closing down and cleanup of banquet spaces.
- Contacts F&B and Marketing teams in advance to confirm all details related to the event and assists the team in facilitating plans and fully responding to day-of requests.
- Other duties as assigned.
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
- Maintaining interpersonal working relationship among all personnel.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and handle high-pressure situations.
- Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 6 months prior work experience is preferred.
