Job Title: Medical Biller/Coding Specialist
Full-time.
Monday-Friday.
8am-5pm.
Hybrid schedule is negotiable; some on-site days are expected for this role.
Location: 915 Centre Avenue Suite 3 Fort Collins, Colorado

About the Role: As a Medical Biller/Coding Specialist at Poudre Infusion Therapy, you will:
Accurately assign ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes and submit claims in compliance with payer-specific requirements.
Post and reconcile payments, address denials, and manage appeals to ensure accurate reimbursement.
Verify insurance benefits, manage prior authorizations, and liaise with external partners such as physicians and hospitals.
Provide customer service, assist patients with billing and co-pay programs, and support billing staff with claim and documentation issues.
Maintain accurate EHR records, stay current on billing regulations, and ensure adherence to internal and external guidelines.
Prepare audit documentation, contribute to month-end reporting, and recommend process improvements.
Maintain up-to-date fee schedules and ensure alignment with payer contracts.
What We're Looking For:
Experience and Education:
Minimum 2–3 years' experience in medical billing and coding.
Expertise in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding.
Experience with electronic health records (EHR), preferably CPR+.
Familiarity with insurance portals and payer communication protocols.
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent credential greatly preferred.
Prior supervisory or team lead experience in billing or office setting preferred.
Experience in infusion services billing preferred.
Skills:
Medical coding proficiency.
Claims management and insurance knowledge.
Electronic health record and billing software proficiency.

Our Total Rewards package includes a salary range of between $25 - $33/hr. DOE
