Job Description
Role: Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist
Banding: Band 4-7
Location: Lincoln
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Rate: £15 - £34 per hour
Working hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:45AM – 17:15PM, weekends and longs required
The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist to join our team in Lincoln. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation of our pharmacy services, providing high-quality care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospital pharmacy and experience in pharmacy procurement or homecare settings.
Duties and Responsibilities:
You will be dispensing medications and providing pharmaceutical care to patients. You will be managing pharmacy inventory and procurement processes. You will be collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. You will be ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience/Knowledge:
- NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or Qualified Pharmacy Technician with relevant certification.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Minimum of 2 years’ post-registration hospital pharmacy experience.
- Masters degree in pharmacy
- Experience in pharmacy procurement or homecare settings
- Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Good organizational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
